Dale R. Doan
Dale has been practising law since 1980. His preferred areas of practice are secured transactions, commercial law and corporate law. (www.cleveland-doan.com/articles/incorp.htm)
Dale has extensive experience preparing security agreements and securing transactions between businesses. With years of experience representing small and large businesses in various business legal matters, he has also assisted the Law Society of British Columbia through its Continuing Legal Education program in organizing and instructing educational seminars to lawyers throughout British Columbia on the topics of secured transactions and the PPSA. Dale has represented international companies throughout North America, and he has provided legal consulting to law firms in the USA and in New Zealand on secured transaction laws.
He has also acted as author and contributing editor of "The British Columbia Personal Property Security Act Practice Manual", a two-volume manual used by lawyers for assistance in secured transactions legal matters. The PPSA provides the legal framework for the Secure Your Own Sales accounts receivable program.
