Digby Leigh
Digby Leigh has advised many business owners since he was admitted to the Law Society of British Columbia in 1982.
During his years of law practice, Digby has advised on almost all areas of the law. He is best known for his aptitude as a advisor in secured transactions and enforcement law, earning the trust of business teams with his straight forward practical win-win approach. Digby has extensive experience advising clients on recoveries of property. He has represented the court-appointed monitors and trustees in bankruptcy matters and in many major insolvency cases.
He has contributed articles and lectures at many Continuing Legal Education seminars presented to lawyers in British Columbia on these and other topics. He is currently the V.P. of the Canadian Basketball Association, and just completed the licensing agreement for the Strategic Planning Task Force, setting the path for basketball in Canada. His numerous years as a high school basketball coach fits well with his love to teach.
Digby's experience in reviewing and enforcing personal property security laws led him to the development of the business documents available with your SYOS ebook. As a dual citizen of Canada and the United States, he is well versed in the personal property laws of both countries.
